Tutoring at Conyers Middle School
In our continuous efforts to promote the success of our students, Conyers Middle School offers a number of ways students can receive additional support and instruction while learning new concepts and standards. CMS Encore Academy is teacher-led tutoring and is offered directly after school Monday – Thursday from 4:15pm-5:15pm. Math and Social Studies tutorials are offered on Mondays and Wednesdays. ELA and Science tutorials are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Academy will focus on various 6th, 7th, and 8th grade key content standards, as well as, remediation for unmet grade level standards. CMS Encore Saturday Academy is a teacher-led tutorial program held on Saturday mornings from 9am – 12pm. Students work directly with math and literacy concepts to gain content mastery. Click here to register online. Transportation is provided for CMS Encore Saturday Academy. Students must be dropped off by 9:05am and picked up no later than 12:10pm. Registration is required. Because space is limited, late drop-offs, early releases, and late pick-ups may forfeit your child’s participation.
Rockdale Student Online Support
RCPS offers free online tutoring and support for both middle school and high school students to help them grasp content and become proficient in understanding of standards.
