PTA Reflections Contest!

Congratulations to 8th Grade student Jayden Stone for becoming a Georgia PTA Reflections Contest State Winner, for his Visual Arts submission titled "Flowers of Love". Jayden was the ONLY Rockdale County student who won this honor from the 215 State Winners. The Visual Arts 3D, Special Artists, Theme Winners, and Poster Winner virtual ceremony will take place March 29, 2023 6pm-7pm.

In its more than 40-year history, the National PTA Reflections program has encouraged millions of students across the nation and in American schools overseas to explore their artistic talents. The program offers students preschool through 12th the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition in the areas of: Literature; Musical Composition; Photography; Visual Arts (which includes art forms such as drawing, painting, print making, and collage); Dance Choreography; and Film/Video Production.

This year's theme is "Show Your Voice!" The deadline to submit entries to Language Arts, Video Production or Fine Arts Teachers is November 17, 2022.
